Great Yarmouth Learning Community, established in 1998, brings together a wide range of organisations and communities who have an interest in learning, education and training and supports local delivery of projects.
We aim to work with people, organisations and communities across Great Yarmouth to coordinate and support local activities so the people of Great Yarmouth have the best opportunities available to them.
Our vision for Great Yarmouth is:
"To facilitate a strong and proactive partnership which encourages a culture of learning and skills development to promote vibrant and prosperous communities across Great Yarmouth"
We aim to do this by:
- Supporting and contributing to the development and delivery of a coordinated
approach to meet the local priorities for Learning and Training
- Supporting and improving access to Learning and Training
- Actively promoting and influencing the Learning agenda
- Contributing to raising the profile of and desire for Learning
