Description of the project: The Town Centre Partnership will co-ordinate and manage the project. There are two key features: "Mystery Shopper" surveys will be carried out each month for all participant retailers by an outside agency. Stores will receive feedback on quality and standard of service. This can then be used by the store to identify training needs and recognise successes. Each retailer will receive each month.
"Awards" will be given to individuals and businesses that prove high quality service levels to celebrate the fact and generate public interest. Training will be NVQ in customer Care Level II. It will be a requirement that each participant releases at least one member of staff for training, to be delivered in the town centre. |
