The Learning Store

The Learning Store is one of the current main projects of the Great Yarmouth Learning Community.  The Learning Store is based in central Great Yarmouth.  The project is funded through European Social Fund and GYLC partner organisations. The Learning Store provides a complete service from advice, support and information on a full range of local learning and training opportunities;  it also provides free access to IT based self-tutor progammes ie. BBC Computer Tutor and Webwise.  It also acts as a local CLIP office.   
 
Learning Store Services are free, impartial and include:

• Advice & Information on a full range of local learning, training & vocational opportunities.
• One to one confidential advice to help you think about what you would like to do and support to get there.
• CV Service- advice and assistance with creating your CV.
• FREE BBC Online Computer courses, Webwise and Computer Tutor.
• FREE internet access for learning, training & employment related searches.
• Outreach support and activities in your local community.
• Appointments to suit you.

The Learning Store is also a registered BBC RAW centre-giving Great Yarmouth residents a local link to the BBC RAW Campaign to develop better reading and writing skills.
